THIS FLOWER CAN HELP WITH YOUR BRAIN FUNCTION.

Almost every morning Riv and I step outside to check if any passionfruit have fallen from our vine, it's become a little game we play… seeing his excitement as he runs down the steps to collect the fruit and bring it back up for breakfast is truly a thrill. Hello - dopamine :)

Passionflower was the very first essence I worked with as a practitioner. I literally watched it grow from seed to harvest in my garden, so not only does our little morning ritual fill me with excitement, it brings on an immense feeling of gratitude and nostalgia.

Seeing the process from flower to fruit reminds me of how beautiful the journey of my own alchemization into working with flowers has been.

THE ROOT OF THE PASSIONFLOWER

Passionflower, its scientific name passiflora incarnata, is derived from the Italian name, fiore della passione, which refers to its resemblance to the crucifixion, because it is known to conduct “Christ like” properties — think intuitive downloads, expanded consciousness, and repairing the ego.

Its beauty stems (no pun intended) from the ever growing vines and multitude of colors they produce, like red, blue, pink, and purple flowers. Historically, the whole plant is used to make medicine, but the stem and leaves seem to be the most potent in activity.

ITS MEDICINE AND ESSENCE

For centuries, passionflower has been used in witches brews, during sacred plant ceremonies, and has been channeled by seers and clairvoyants as a conductor to tap into higher frequencies, which allows the subtle body to deeper feel into pings and intuitive hits (remember what we talked about last week?)

Today, passionflower is frequently found in tinctures and teas for neurological issues, such as brain support and cognition, sleep support, and stress relief.
